A Place For You!
A Message From the Authors

My name is Deborah S. Balog, born to a child bride of sixteen and a mature father of twenty. Scandalous back then…I am the mother of three accomplished, grown children and the wife of a nerdy boat fanatic. I was a mortgage professional for thirty years and have struggled with leaving it all behind to pursue a passion instead of a paycheck. I tried once and failed. But as they say… if at first you do not succeed – try, try, try again. So let’s go. Here is where you will find me ranting, reminiscing and sharing about what we as women experience in life. I’m hoping it will be a place where we all can laugh, cry, learn and be who we are- wonderful women of all ages. Thanks for joining me. I am honored by your presence.

my lovely co-author first brought feminine findings to me with Hopes i would be able to “revamp” the website on the backend. Since then, I am so honored to now share the space as a co-authors. I have grown to find so much enjoyment in writing and sharing with all of you. i hope you all find the same enjoyment in our pieces. thank you for allowing me to reminisce, vent, grow and so much more with all of you. -Natalie Rowe Seier

But I still choose to associate it with the official end of the Christmas season: feast of the epiphany, the twelfth day of Christmas, celebration of the gifts of the Magi. …
Am I turning into my Mother? Do I want to?
Did anyone ever say to you “you are just like your mom”? I can’t tell you how many times I have heard that over my lifetime. Sometimes I was like… You really think so? For years all I ever wanted to be was “just like my mom”. As children, our moms are our entire world.…
